The Virginian Pilot August 28, 1959
Mrs. Edna V. Hatchell Wickens, 64, of 1115 Perry St. died Thursday at 9:45 a.m. 
in a Norfolk hospital after illness of one week.
She was a native of Mecklenburg County and had lived in South Norfolk the last 
45 years.
She was a daughter of James and Mrs. Sarah Phillips Hatchell and wife of the 
late Frederick C. Wickens.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna V. Wickens of 1115 Perry St., who died Thursday, 
will be conducted at the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home today at 1 p.m.  Burial 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
