Wicker, 75, daughter of Albert and Mrs. Mary Nixon Wicker, a school teacher for 50 years until her retirement in 1950, died at the residence, 709 East 28th Street yesterday at 7 a.m. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Esther Ellen Ford, of Norfolk; a brother, Edison Wicker, of Boston, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. Miss Wicker was a native of Fayetteville, N.C. and had been a resident of Norfolk for 40 years. She was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Park Place Garden Club, Civil Defense Chairman, Federation of Garden Clubs, Business and Professional Women's Club and the Book Club. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
