DEATHS

MRS. SALLIE A. WICKER, aged 40, wife of John D. Wicker, died at the residence, 114 

Wl;anut Street, Berkley, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.  She was a native of North 
Carolina and, for the past four years, a resident of Norfolk.  Besides her 
husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. P. Jones, Mrs. H. O. 
Rivenbark, and Misses Sadie and Elva Wicker; two sons, J. W. and Roy S. Wicker, 
all of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Robinson, of Philadelphia, Pa.; Mrs. Ralph 
Lathrop, of Norfolk County; Mrs. Alvin Perkins, of Norfolk County, and Miss Dixie 
Perry, of New York; three brothers, Roy and James Perry, of New York, and Grover 
Perry, of Pennsylvania.  Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 
Berkley Ward, for services Friday morning at 10 o'clock.  The Rev. M. J. Hartigan, 
officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
