The Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 2, 1940
James Floyd Wicker, aged 14 months, son of John Welton and Mrs. Etta Mae 
Wicker, of 208 Walnut street, Berkley, died at a local hospital yesterday 
morning at 9 o'clock after a short illness. Besides his parents, he is survived 
by four brothers, Calvin Bryan, John Welton, Jr., Grover Orvelle, and O. Donald 
Wicker, and one sister, Joyce D. Wicker. The body was removed to the Sykes 
Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue, where funeral services will be conducted 
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
