Mrs. Wideman was born in Norfolk and worked in the housekeeping department for Marriott Hotel. She was a member of New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness, Philpotts Road in Norfolk. The widow of David Wideman, she is survived by two daughters, Theonita Valentin of Clearwater Fla., and Linda Pearson of Norfolk; two sisters, Mary Dillard of Roanoke, Va., and Mary Castille of Norfolk; two brothers, Hank Winfield and Bernard Winfield, both of Norfolk; a grandson, Walter Pearson of Norfolk; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday at New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness by Elder James A. Wilson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Viewing will be today from 3:30 to 8 p.m. at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will assemble at 11 a.m. for the procession at Ms. Alvert Castille's residence at 2832 Middletown Crescent, Norfolk, (Middletown Arch).
