The Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 8, 1952
Miss Annie Elizabeth Widgeon, 77, daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Ives 
Widgeon, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 1:30 p.m.
She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. R.L. Garrett, of Elizabeth City, N.C., and 
Mrs. F.A. Cuthriell, of Deep Creek. Miss Widgeon was a native of Norfolk County 
and was a resident of Norfolk for 60 years, residing at 3020 Tait Terrace. For 
a number of years she was in the employ of the Virginian Railway as a legal 
secretary and was a member of the Central Baptist Church. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 
2 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
