New Daily Pilot Tuesday October 15, 1895

His many friends will be pained to learn of the death of Mr. William F. Widgeon, 
which occurred Sunday afternoon at the residence of his brother, Mr. J.L. 
Widgeon, on Maitland Avenue.  He was 39 years old and single.  His death was due 
to lung trouble.  The funeral will take place from the Berkley Avenue Baptist 
Church this morning at 10:30 o'clock.

Mr. Wm. F. Widgeon, a resident of Gilmerton, died Sunday afternoon at the 
residence of his brother, J.L. Widgeon, on Montelant Avenue, Berkley. The 
deceased was 39 years of age and single.  He had for a long time suffered with a 
throat disease; lately his lungs became affected and to this his death is due.  
The funeral will take place from the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church this morning 
at 10:30 o'clock.

The funeral services of Mr. W.F. Widgeon, who died Sunday afternoon, were held 
in Berkley Avenue Baptist Church yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock and were 
conducted by the pastor, Rev. H.N. Quisenberry.  Deep Creek Lodge and Lee Lodge 
Knights of Pythias, of Berkley, attended the obsequies.  The interment was in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
