Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 26,1962
Anthony Wiggins, 60, of 1242 Courtney street, who died at home on May 12, was 
given final rites Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The Rev. W. O. DeLoatch officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Employee of a Norfolk mattress factory for 25 years, Mr. Wiggins was a native of 
Atlanta.  He lived in Norfolk 40 years.

He is survived by a stepson, Walter Lee King of Norfolk;  two stepdaughters, 
Miss Josephine King and Miss Mary King, also of Norfolk;  and four sisters, Mrs. 
Marie Middleton, Mrs. Sarah Foster, Mrs. Emma Walker and Miss Clara Bell Wiggins 
of Boston.
