He was a native of Norfolk and educated within its system. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Hampton Roads Sanitation and was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church of Norfolk. He was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Audrey Wiggins and a daughter, Marlinda Wiggins. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jeanette Wiggins; a sister, Inez Wiggins of Norfolk; two daughters, Tracey Wiggins of Norfolk and Mavis Wiggins of Chesapeake; and five grandchildren, Anthony Wiggins of Virginia Beach, Dreamena and Montrell Wiggins of Norfolk, Alfred and Keyanna Wiggins of Chesapeake. The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St., Norfolk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk.
