The funeral of Mrs. Ruth Wiggins, 56, of 247 Kent street, who died in a local
hospital on November 15, was held on November 21 at Garrett’s Community Church
with the Rev. R. K. D. Garrett officiating.  Born in Murfreesboro, NC, she had
lived here for 25 years.  A daughter, Mrs. Effie Barnes, and other relatives
survive.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
