The New Calvary Baptist Church last Friday was the scene of funeral services for
Mrs. Fannie Wiggins of 1257 Wide St., who died Tuesday of last week at her
residence. The Rev. R. K. D. Garrett, pastor of Garrett’s Community Church,
officiated at the rites. Mrs. Wiggins was a native of Bertie County, NC but had
lived in Norfolk for a number of years. She is survived by a daughter, father,
and an aunt, Mrs. Mary M. White. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
