NORFOLK - Genevia E. Moore Wiggins, 70, of the 3000 block of Dana St., passed 
away Nov. 16, 2006, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born July 3, 
1936, in Norfolk. Genevia retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital after six years of 
service and also from the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital after eight years 
of service as an LPN. 

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Donna Horton (Sam) of 
Greenville, S.C., and Yvette Burton (Mike) of Suffolk; one son, Alvin Jones Sr. 
of Norfolk; one sister, Jessie Mae Moore of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; 12 
great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and 
friends. 

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral 
Service, 7246 Granby St. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Family 
and friends will assemble at 3001 Dana St. one hour prior to the service for the 
procession to the chapel. Viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 
the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at
