Virginian Pilot Thursday March 24, 1904

                             Death of C. J. Wiggs

Clarence J. Wiggs, a well known merchant of this town, residing on Liberty 
street, died at his home, corner of Berkley avenue and Seventh street, Tuesday 
evening at 8 o'clock.  The deceased was 27 years of age and leaves a widow.
The deceased is a son of Mr. and Mrs. I. T. Wiggs, in Cedar Grove, South Main 
street, and leaves in addition to a father and mother, two sisters and a 
brother. 
The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock  
and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of the late Clarence J. Wiggs was conducted from the family 
residence, corner Berkley avenue and Seventh street, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 
o'clock and the interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. A.J. Ramsey, pastor of 
the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, officiated.
