 Virginian Pilot May 28, 1899

                          DEATH OF A LITTLE CHILD

Yesterday morning at 7:20 o'clock Robert Bruce, son of Mr. W.T. and Mrs. S.M. 
Wilber, of Berkley, died, aged 4 months and 21 days.  The funeral will be held 
from the family residence at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.
Robert was a particularly bright child, the idol of his parents, and a favorite 
with their friends, whose sympathy will go out to them in their hour of 
bereavement.  Man proposes and God disposes.  Robert, a little bud of earth has 
been transplanted to heaven, so as an angel he will nestle on the Saviour's 
bosom, awaiting the coming of the fond parents, who loved and nurtured him here 
below.
