Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 29, 1947

Mrs. Clara Lee Wilcox, aged 39 years, wife of Anthony L. Wilcox and daughter of 
Minor J. and Mrs. Ida Thurman Davis, a native of Chattanooga, Tenn., and a 
resident of this section for the past three and a half years, died Sunday night 
at 9:25 o'clock at the residence near Princess Anne Courthouse. She is survived 
by her husband, Anthony L. Wilcox; two sons, Edward DeForrest Wilcox and Harry 
Davis Wilcox of Princess Anne County; her parents, Minor J. and Mrs. Ida Thurman 
Davis and one sister, Mrs. Earl White, all of Chattanooga, Tenn. The body will 
be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's Catholic Church 
for services Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
