A native of New Orleans, La., he was a son of Frank Nelson Wilcox, cathedral and hotel architect, and Mrs. Catherine Wilcox and the husband of Mrs. Catharine James Wilcox. He was educated at the University of Virginia, University of Richmond and Harvard University. During World War I and II, he served as a government consultant. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk; Sons of the American Revolution and American Economic Society. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John F. Estes of Norfolk; and three grandchildren. The body was taken to Brennan Funeral Home, Portsmouth, where the Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk.
