Henry Wiley of 734 Charlotte street, died June 22  at 70 years of age in a 
local hospital.  He was born in Alabama but had lived in Norfolk over 40 
years.  He was a member of the Waldorf Lodge and the Metropolitan AMEZ 
Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Wiley;  four sons, James, Duke, 
Barron and Henry, all of Norfolk;  and two daughters, Mrs. Butler and Mrs. 
Margaret Gibbs.

Funeral services were held June 27 at 2 p.m. at the Metropolitan AMEZ Church 
with the pastor, the Rev. C. A. Council, officiating.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
