Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Wiley, who lived at 734 Charlotte street, 
were conducted at Metropolitan AMEZ Church on Tuesday by the pastor, the Rev. R. 
A. Councill.

Mrs. Wiley was the wife of the late Henry Wiley and the daughter of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. Ernest Wynn of Edenton, NC.  She lived in Norfolk for 20 years.

Surviving Mrs. Wiley are four sons:  James, Henry, Duke and Borron Wiley and two 
daughters, Mrs. Margaret Gibbs and Mrs. Ruby Butler of Norfolk;  three sisters, 
Mrs. Louise Vann and Mrs. Mamie Broddy of Edenton;  and Mrs. Odessa Gardner of 
Norfolk;  eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graves Funeral Home was in charge of interment at Calvary Cemetery.
