Virginian Pilot Tuesday June 21, 1927

Mrs. Sarah A. Wilkerson aged 70, wife of William S. Wilkerson dies at her 
residence 313 Herman Avenue yesterday a.m. at 3:50 after a short illness. She 
was a native of Petersburg but has been a resident of Norfolk for 55 years. 
Surviving her besides her husband are four children, Harry L. Fentress of 
Charlotte, NC, F. W. Fentress and Mrs. Presley B. White of Norfolk and Byron C. 
Wilkerson of New York City. The body was removed to the funeral home of James 
V. Derry, 346 W. Princess Anne Road, pending funeral arrangements
