Virgian-Pilot, December 3, 1961
DIED - W. Shelby Wilkins, 66, of Norfolk, a recently retired employee of 
Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, was killed in a traffic accident in West Palm 
Beach, Fla., Friday night.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Mary Woodhouse Wilkins and is survived by a 
son, William S. Wilkins.
He was a member of Atlantic Masonic Lodge 2 and John Walters Royal Arch Chapter 
68 and was a past commander of American Legion Post 204. He formerly was a 
member of Central Baptist Church
