Norfolk - Funeral services were conducted Sunday for Mrs. Lillie Wilkins, 88 of 
1312 Chapel street, at Metropolitan AMEZ Church, where she held membership.  The 
Rev. Lloyd Williams officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale 
Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Alexander Wilkins and the daughter of 
Willis Creekmore and Mrs. Mady Creekmore, both deceased.

She served as a member of the Stewardess board of  her church.

Surviving are four sons, the Rev. Alexander Wilkins of New York, Vincent Wilkins 
of Hackensack, NJ, and Kermit Wilkins and James Wilkins, both of Norfolk;  four 
daughters, Mrs. Olympia Johnson of Detroit, Mrs. Ellen Buchanan of New York and 
Mrs. Marion Harrell and Mrs. Thelma Barge of Norfolk.
