Funeral services for Robert Wilkins were held Nov. 16 at Fitchett’s Funeral
chapel at 1 p. m. with the pastor emeritus of First Baptist Church, Berkley, the
Rev. J. C. Diamond, officiating.  

Mr. Wilkins, who resided at 314 Whitehead street, died Nov. 11 at a local
hospital after a prolonged illness.  He was a native of Bethel, NC, and has
resided in Norfolk for the past 22 years.  

He was the son of the late Baker and Mrs. Della Whitehurst Wilkins and is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia Anna Wilkins;  three sisters, Mrs. Mary
Griffin and Mrs. Martha Sparkman of Norfolk, Mrs. Bessie Coburn of Parmele, NC
and one brother, Frank Wilkins, Baltimore, MD.

Interment was in Calvary cemetery with Fitchett’s Funeral Home in charge.
