The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday June 3, 1943
Reuben Madron Wilkins, aged 55, husband of Thelma Bowden Wilkins, died at the 
residence, 807 Park avenue, yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John D. Hulion and Miss 
Mildred G. Wilkins, both of Norfolk; two sons, Joseph Madron Wilkins, U.S.A., 
and Henry Wallace Wilkins, of Norfolk; three brothers, Benjamin Wilkins, of 
Norfolk, and Samuel and Joseph Wilkins, both of Currituck County, N.C.; two 
sisters, Mrs. Edward Swain and Mrs. Louise Gilikin, both of Currituck, and 
several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wilkins was a native of Currituck County and 
had been a resident of Norfolk for 35 years.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home pending funeral 
arrangements.
