Mrs. Wilkins was born on Knott's Island, N. C., but removed to Norfolk when very young since which time she had resided here. She was a woman of many sterling qualities, much beloved by everyone who know her and will be greatly missed. She was one of the charter members of old Queen Street M. E. Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ella S. Deans and Mrs. Henry C. Crosby, six grandchildren, Mr. A. W. Deans, Miss Bessie H. Deans, Mrs. W. G. Smith, Mrs. R. Meade Forrest, Mrs. F. H. Vanderherchen and Mr. Charles F. Wilbern; also nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the residence tomorrow at 2 p.m. Rev. F. G. Davis officiating. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
