The Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 5, 1937
News was received here last night of the death of Casper Bediman Wilkins, aged 
71, a former contractor, at the home of his son, C.G. Wilkins, in 
Elizabethtown, N.C., yesterday morning at 6:45 o'clock.
The body will arrive in Norfolk by train this morning and will be taken to the 
Gregory Funeral Home to await funeral arrangements.
Mr. Wilkins was a native of Camden, N.J., and had been a resident of Norfolk 
about 45 years. He had retired from active business. Besides C.G. Wilkins, Mr. 
Wilkins is survived by three other sons, O.E. Wilkins, H. Wilkins and A.L. 
Wilkins; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Weeks, and eight grandchildren, all of 
Washington, D.C.

The Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 6, 1937

Funeral services for Mr. Wilkins, 71, former contractor, who died Sunday 
morning at the residence of his son, C.G. Wilkins, in Elizabethtown, N.C., will 
be conducted at the Gregory Funeral Home, 3401 Granby street, this afternoon at 
2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
