Virginian Pilot December 29, 1980

Mrs. Bessie Estelle Beane Wilkinson, 97 of 118 Blake Road, a native of Norfolk 
and the widow of A. (Shep) Wilkinson, died Sunday in a hospital.
She was a member of LeKies United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary W. Masten; and a son, J. (Shep) 
Wilkinson, both of Norfolk; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and 
three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Arthur W. Meyer.  Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30.
