Wilkinson, passed away at the home of her son-on-law, E.W. Spann, 308 Thirtieth Street, Park Place, at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, after a lingering illness, in the 51st year of her age. The deceased was born in Norfolk County, but had been permanently located in Norfolk for quite forty years, where her beautiful and exemplary life drew around her a host of friends in this city and her native county. She leaves, besides her husband, a mother, Mrs. Ann M. Ballentine and seven children -- John Anderson Jr., J.W.S. Wilkinson, A.S. Wilkinson, Charles B. Wilkinson, Irving Wilkinson, Mrs. E.W. Spann and Mrs. M.B. Wilson, also a brother, W.T. Ballentine and a sister, Mrs. James Thornton. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence and will be conducted by Rev. R.A. Robinson of Colley Memorial Presbyterian Church.
