Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, January 16, 2001 
Don D. Wilkins Sr., 52, of the 5700 block of E. Hastings Arch departed this life
Jan. 13, 2001, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital following a brief illness.

He was the loving father to Don D. Wilkins Jr.; devoted grandfather to Danielle,
Tiara, Kyra, Doniqua, Asia and Amari; beloved brother of Sandra (Oscar) Burrell
of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ella (Jerome) Worsham of West Chester, Ohio, Beverly
(Willie) Alston of Norfolk, Carlos Wilkins of Virginia Beach and Charles (Rosie)
Wilkins of Westminster, Calif.; special nephew of Deloris Paige of Norfolk,
Thelma Walls of Youngstown, Ohio, and William Harrison of Richlands, N.C. He is
also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held today after 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday
at Graves Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Jerusalem Baptist
Church, 718 Tidewater Drive, at 11 a.m. Thursday. Pastor George Chavis is
officiating.
