Willcox, of this city, died at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Sunday March 24, 1907. Mrs. Willcox was the daughter of the late Rev. Thomas M. Ambler and a granddaughter of the late William W. Sharp, of Norfolk. The deceased was a native of Norfolk and enjoyed the love and esteem of a large circle of friends in this city and elsewhere in Virginia, to whom she had endeared herself by her many lovable traits of character. She is survived by a husband and six children, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. Judge Willcox left for Baltimore yesterday morning to accompany the remains to Norfolk. The funeral services will be held from St. Luke's P.E. Church on Wednesday at noon. ************************************************************************* The remains of Mrs. Mary Cary Willcox, the wife of Judge Thomas H. Willcox, reached Norfolk from Baltimore, Md. yesterday morning accompanied by Judge Willcox and other members of the family. The funeral will be held from St. Luke's Episcopal Church, of which the deceased was a member, at noon today. Virginian Pilot March 27, 1907 ************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Mary Cary Willcox, who died in Baltimore, took place yesterday from St. Luke's Episcopal Church and was largely attended. Rev. W.A. Barr, Bishop Tucker, of the Southern Virginia Diocese and Bishop Randolph officiated. The floral tributes were magnificent. The interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: H.L. Smith, Judge William B. Martin, James A. Kerr, H.T. Campbell, Merritt T. Cooke, Captain William E. Taylor, Richard B. Tunstall and Robert B. Cooke.
