Mr. Willcox was a member of a widely known Charles City County family and was born in that county. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mabel Smith Willcox, he is survived by three brothers, Judge Thomas H. Willcox, Sr., J.W. Willcox and Junius R. Willcox, and two sisters, Mrs. Nina Hewitt and Mrs. Virginia Strachan, all of Norfolk. Notice of funeral later. -- Virginian-Pilot, Tues., Dec. 8, 1925 Edward Willcox-Funeral services for Mr. Willcox, who died yesterday morning at his home, 7 Elmhurst Court, will be held at noon today at Saint Luke’s Protestant Episcopal Church. The Rev. D.W. Howard, D.D., rector of the church, will conduct the services. The pallbearers will be; B. Gray Tunstall, A. Plummer Pannill, W.W. Robinson, James H. Johnston, Garrett Watters, Herbert L. Smith, F.W. Calvert and K.C. Johnson. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
