Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, May 14, 1990 
Earl Daniel Willey of the 700 block of W. 28th St., died May 12, 1990, in a
hospital.

Mr. Willey, a native of Norfolk, was the supervisor of the Physical Plant at
Norfolk State University for 14 years. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist
Church. In 1981, he was named Employee of the Year at Norfolk State University
for his outstanding and dedicated service.

Survivors include his wife, Christine R. Willey; four sisters, Alice Bowens of
Norfolk, Doris Babbs of Virginia Beach and Lenora Coles and Esther Snead, both
of Richmond; and four brothers, George Willey, James Willey, Edward Willey and
Clarence Willey, all of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church
by the Rev. James H. Harris. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will
be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may join the family at
11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the residence. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
