He was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk since 1898. He was a member of Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church, Knights of Pythias, Charity Lodge No. 10, and Woodmen of the World, Elizabeth Camp No. 3. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vivian Chapman Williams; one daughter, Mrs. Ellen William Seymour, of Washington, D.C., and two granddaughters, Miss Margaret Vivian Seymour and Miss Barbara Elaine Seymour, both of Washington. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. James W. Brown, pastor of the Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
