Gladys V. Johnson Williams, of the 1000 block of Rugby St., a retired grocery
store supervisor, died April 17, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Williams, a native of Norfolk, had retired from Boulevard Big Pig
Supermarket after 25 years. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include two daughters, Mariea R. Cromer of Washington, D.C., and
Denise M. Cox of Arlington; a sister, Dorothy M. Mabry of Chesapeake; and a
brother, Dr. Robert of Johnson Jr. of New York City.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may join the family
at the residence.
