Williams, of the 600 block of Quail Ave., a retired service station operator, died Dec. 8, 1987, in a hospital. Mr. Williams, a native of Oak City, N.C., was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Eureka Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Bettie Williams, and a brother, Edward C. Williams of New York City. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by the Rev. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday.
