The Virginian Pilot Friday September 27, 1957
Franklin Benjamin Williams, 93, retired sea captain, died at the residence, 
Mears Corner, Princess Anne County, yesterday at 6 p.m.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H.M. Mears of Princess Anne County; a 
son, George F. Williams of Warwick; a grandson, George F. Williams Jr. of 
Warwick and a niece, Mrs. Edward Shiles of Bethel, Del.
Mr. Williams was a native of Seaford, Delaware and had been a resident of 
Princess Anne County for 60 years.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Franklin Benjamin Williams, who died at the residence, 
Mears Corner, Princess Anne County, Thursday, will be conducted at the 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Arnold B. Blount, 
pastor of the Kempsville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
