Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, September 6, 1991 
Marshall B. Williams Sr., of the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, a retired
clerk and funeral director, died Sept. 4, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Williams had retired from the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. He
was formerly employed with Fitchett Funeral Home. He was a Mason and a member of
Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, Chesapeake. He was an Army veteran of World
War II and was the widower of Ophelia F. Williams.

Survivors include two daughters, Mischelle B. Cave of Norfolk and Ophelia B.
Richardson of Clinton, Md.; a son, Marshall Williams Jr. of Arlington; a
brother, the Rev. Isaac E. Williams of Suffolk; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Greater Mount Zion Baptist
Church by the Rev. Donald F. Taylor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The
family will assemble at 808 Hayes St. The body will be placed in the church at
10 a.m. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
