Williams, operated a funeral home in Berkley section of Norfolk many years, died Sunday night in her home at 530 13th St. A native of Asheville, N.C., she lived in the Tidewater area more than 50 years. She was a member of St. Bride's Episcopal Church and Mary Calcott Woman's Club. She was a yeomanette in the Navy during World War I. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred B. Womack of Norfolk, and Mrs. Betty Phelan, of Atlanta; a son, Hunter S. Williams Jr. of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, to St. Bride's Episcopal Church for a funeral service Thursday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. William C. Hoffman. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be at the son's home, on MacDonald Road, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to a charity.
