A native of Jarvisburg, NC, she was a retired teacher of North Carolina public schools. She was the widow of Daniel L. Williams and a daughter of the late Johnathan and Mrs. Margarett Case. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Daniel O. Williams of Philadelphia and Robert W. Williams of New York; three daughters, Mrs. alma W. Carpenter, Mrs. Jessie W. Turner, and Mrs. Frances W. Ferebee of the Bronx; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Services were held in Mount Olive Baptist Church by the Rev. H. T. Myers. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
