He was a native of Mathews County and had resided in Norfolk 15 years. He was a son of the late Clara Minter and R.F. Williams and had been residing with his sister, Mrs. Blanche McPherson, 326 West Princess Anne road. He was a seaman on the S. S. Onondaga, of Dearborn, Mich., for last six years. His father, two sisters, Mrs. McPherson and Miss Edna Mae Williams, and two brothers, Virgil L. and Aubrey L. Williams, all of Norfolk, survive him. Funeral services will be conducted from the Gregory Funeral Home, 3401 Granby street, Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
