T. C. [Theodorick Armistead] Williams, whose death was announced in Sunday's VIRGINIAN, took place last evening at 4 o'clock from St. Luke's P. E. Church in the presence of a large assemblage of those who knew Captain Williams and admired him for his many sterling traits of character, among them a detachment of Pickett-Buchanan Camp. The solemn service of the Episcopal Church was conducted by Rev. A. S. Lloyd, assisted by Rev. Beverly D. Tucker. The following gentlemen acted as pall bearers: Major C. W. Grandy, Mr. M. L. T. Davis, Captain W. C. Whittle, Mr. W. C. Dickson, Captain W. W. Chamberlaine, Mr. Joseph T. Allyn, Major W. F. Irvine, Mr. R. P. Voight, Dr. W. N. Gingrich, Major R. C. Taylor. The interment took place at Elmwood Cemetery. The floral offering were numerous and beautiful.
