Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - November 8, 2000
Marquis M. Williams of the 6600 block of Pilot Ave. died Nov. 3, 2000. Born in 
Norfolk, Marquis was a student at Norview High School. 
He is survived by his mother, Cornelia Singleton; his father, Christopher Jones; 
a dear close family friend, Darryl Powell; three sisters, Trenelia Owens and 
Jasmine and Tenesha Stallworth; four brothers, Dontie and Christopher Williams, 
Shaheem Stallworth and Anthony Reid; grandparents, Ola Cunningham, Mable Jones, 
Robert Spruill and Morris Jones; a niece; nine aunts; three uncles; and a host 
of cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by three uncles, 
Ronnie and Henry Williams and LyMorris Jones. 
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Mason Memorial COGIC, Goff Street, 
Norfolk, by Pastor Fisher. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk. 
Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Street Chapel, is in charge. Family and 
friends will assemble at noon at 6632 Pilot Ave. for the procession.
