Norfolk Landmark May 29, 1912
Edward J. Williams died at his home 127 North Marshall Avenue, at 7 o’clock A. 
M., yesterday following a lingering illness in the twenty eighth year of his 
age. He was a native of Norfolk and was a son of Mrs. Sallie V Williams and 
the late William Wallace Williams, and was well known and esteemed in the 
community. Besides his mother he is survived by a brother Wallace Williams and 
three sisters, Mrs. H.H. Harrison, Mrs. Robert A Boce and Miss Blanche R. 
Williams all of Norfolk. 
The funeral will be held at the residence, 127 North Marshall Avenue at 5 
o’clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. George Wesley Jones of 
McKendree Methodist Episcopal Church. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery
