Virginia Beach - Mrs. Bernadine Nichols Williams of 637 Red Kirk Lane, the widow 
of Calvin R. Williams and a Norfolk native, died September 6 in her home.

She was a daughter of Mrs. Maggie B. Nichols. She was a member of Ebenezer 
Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, and St. Aleathia Eastern Star Chapter 83.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline W. Butler of the U.S. 
Army, Japan, Ms. Joyce Williams and Ms.  Janet M. Williams of Virginia Beach, 
and Mrs. Janice W. Harvey of Baltimore; three sons, Nicyols Williams of Oregon, 
Bernard R. Williams of Norfolk, and Rodney E. Williams of the Air Force, 
Illinois; two brothers, Bernard A. Nichols of Norfolk and Robert Elmo Nichols of 
Chesapeake; and three grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home had charge.
