NORFOLK - Mrs. Nanie Williams of 614 Craig St. died Wednesday in Leigh Memorial 
Hospital.

A native of Enfield, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mrs. Mariah 
Williams and the widow of Nelson Williams.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for more than 20 years and served in 
the missionary society.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ardella Williams Murray and Mrs. Manie W. 
Lynch, both of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Mt. Zion Baptist Church by 
the Rev. J.M. Alexander. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Metropolitan 
Funeral Home in charge.
