Wiliams of 749 Pulaski St. died Tuesday in her home after a short illness. A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late John and Mrs. Anna Keeling and the widow of J. Bascom Williams. She was a member of St. John's A.M.E. Church and its Deaconess Board, St. Mary's Household 8, and Phyllis Wheatley Circle. Surviving are a son, Dr. Purvis J. Williams of Washington and a daughter, Mrs. Mildre W. Black of Norfolk. A funeral service will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in St. John's A.M.E. Church by the Rev. A.R. Powell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge. The body will be in the church at noon Friday.
