The Virginian-Pilot, Wednesday, October 24, 1979

NORFOLK - Mrs. Nannie P.L. Williams of 2824 E. Princess Anne Road, the widow of 
Rufus Williams and a native of Churchland, Norfolk County, died Sunday in a 
hospital.

She was a member of St. Paul CME Church. She was a member of Ada Eastern Star 
Chapter 20, Priscilla Court of Calanthe 292, and grand received of deposit of 
the Grand Court of Calanthe of Virginia.

Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Ruth C. Leigh, and a sister, Ms. Otelia 
Ruffin, both of Norfolk; a niece; and nephews.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral will be held Thursday at 1 
p.m. in St. Paul CME Church by the Rev. Larry S. Howard. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery. The body will be in church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
