VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Mildred Bernice Williams of 6550 Newtown Road died Monday 
in her home after a short illness.

A native of Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Mrs. Bessie D. Williams and the 
late Rev. Jimmerson R. Williams.

She was former manager of Hoover Funeral Home, Wadesboro, N.C., and worked for 
Bess Credit Clothiers here.

She was a member of Gardenia Eastern Star Chapter 2, Bon Ton Club, North 
Carolina Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association, and Trinity Baptist 
Church.

Besides her mother, surviving are three brothers, James R. Williams and Calvin 
R. Williams of New York and the Rev. Ruben E. Williams of Bridgeport, Conn.

The body is at Riddick Funeral Service.
