Williams of 921 Dunbar St. died Thursday at 7:50 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness. She was a daughter of the late Josiah and Mrs. Priscilla Pugh and was born in Norfolk. She worked at Hofheimer's Shoe store as a maid nine years. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher. Surviving are her widower, Edward I. Williams; one son, Theodore P. Williams of Norfolk; one daughter, Mrs. Priscilla Coleman of New York City; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Mouring and Mrs. Sterling Desmond of Norfolk; one brother, Joe L. Pugh of Chicago; and four grandchildren. The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. Additional Comments: NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Mamie P. Williams of 921 Dunbar St., who died Thursday, will be held in New Calvary Baptist Church Monday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Sam S. Wilson, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
