Norfolk - Keelan Erik Williams, 35, was born January 22, 1978 in The Federal 
Republic of Germany to Sam and Mae Wiliams. He was raised as an Army "Brat" and 
lived in and traveled to many places. While residing in Fort Bragg, N.C., he 
attended Pine Forest High School. In 1996, he graduated from Pine Forest High 
School with "Honors" and was a member of the North Carolina Honor Scholars 
Organization. Keelan attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. and obtained 
his B.S. degree in Marketing from Norfolk State University. He was a valued 
employee of E.V. Williams, Inc. for many years. He loved and was always amongst 
his family. He is survived by his parents, Sam and Mae Williams, brother, Keith 
(Felicia) Williams, sister, Kesia Williams, three nephews and two nieces, 
Alexander Williams, of Hampton, Va., Alexis Singletary, of Newport News, Va., and 
Keenan, Evan and Layla Williams, of Norfolk, Va. and grandmother, Lottie Farmer, 
of Norfolk, Va., and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives and 
friends. Keelan was predeceased by grandparents, Robert "Bob" Farmer, of Danbury, 
Conn., and Mary Williams, of Norfolk, Va., and uncle, Glenn Farmer, of Danbury, 
Conn., and aunt, Margaret Williams, of Norfolk, Va. A wake service will be held at 
Basilica of St. Mary of The Immaculate Conception on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. and 
the funeral will be Monday, Nov. 18 at 12 noon at The Basilica of St. Mary of The 
Immaculate Conception.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of 
flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's.
