Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, September 29, 1995 
Vascella E. ``Shorty'' Williams, 56, of the 300 block of Mary St., died Sept.
27, 1995, in De Paul Medical Center.

She was born in Waycross, Ga., and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker and the widow of Samuel Williams.

She is survived by six daughters, Regina Branch, Bernadette Griffin, Jacqueline
Cardona, Gwendolyn J. Williams, Yolanda Williams, all of Norfolk, and Saundra
Hoskins, of Hampton; two sons, Samuel Williams Jr. and Timotyy, both of Norfolk;
sister, Annette Everett of Portsmouth; five brothers, Peter Forrest, Herbert
Forrest, Michael Forrest, all of Portsmouth; Jesse Fullwood of Atlanta; and
Ernest Fullwood of Miami, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Baker and Jesse Fullwood.

A funeral service will be held noon Saturday by the Rev. Lloyd B. Allen in
Friendship Baptist Church. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery . Visitation will be at
the home, 2325 Hanson Ave. today from 6 to 7 p.m. Hale Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
